Dr. Roland B. Daniels and Family

Daniel’s father, who was a profound doctor in the Civil War. Roland was the fourth of ten children.

Dr. Daniel was one of eleven members of the 1911 class of Delta Tau Delta fraternity at Emory College in Oxford, Georgia. Dr. Daniel was later awarded the lifetime membership of this fraternity as well as an honorary life membership to the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa fraternity of the University of Georgia.

This diploma of Legum Doctoris [Doctor of Laws] was awarded to Dr. Roland B. Daniel in 1929 for his progress and aid in the education system. The honorary diploma was certified by the University of Georgia.
