Uses for the Holy Bible

Each of these depict their intended use for use at home, church, and schooling. Some even came with a question and answer sheet in the back.

The pamphlets were sheets of paper used for bible study in 1870. They were mailed out every week. These show that the Bible was intended for personal study. Some of these bibles even had a question and answer section.

hese two Bibles show a unique depiction of biblical stories. The one from 1886 even has a summary for the book of the bible it depicts. The summary was used as either context for the scripture or to help a teacher/preacher frame the scripture
