The Trumpet 1947

The Daily Trumpet (1947) was made by Evall G. Johnson under the psuedonem "Parson Jack". Johnson was the head of the Klu Klux Klan (KKK) branch in Columbus, GA. He wrote pro-unionist and anti-communist articles, as well as, numerous racial remarks. He used religious rhetoric to push his anti-communist and racial narrative.
