<dcterms:description><![CDATA[This book is a short historical account of early Christian Saints and Martyrs. It explores the reasons as to why they were persecuted and the bravery that they displayed before death. The intended audience of this book is children, and it was to be used for Sunday School lessons. Its historical significance exists within the purpose of the book, which was to teach a younger audience about how these martyrs spread Christianity through their death. The book is in good condition, with all of the pages complete and legible. The spine is the only section that is not in its original form. There is binding waste that has been used to rebound the book, and this was likely done before it arrived at the CSU Archives. ]]></dcterms:description>
