Empty schools - Double Churches Elementary & Double Churches Middle
This is what COVID-19 has done to the local schools. At this time of day on a Tuesday this loop should be filled with parents picking up their children. Buses should be lined up and being filled with laughing and happy students ready to go home. Behind the buses should be three lines of cars with their AC's blaring waiting to pick up their precious cargo. Instead places like these two schools sit empty with no laughter and no love, just empty brick and concrete boxes.

Even After...It Continues
Even as the state opens back up restrictions remain. The new norm is solidifying. Restaurants are continuing to force distancing by limiting tables inside. The tent has become an extension of the physical building. But at least you can start to get a steak or a bowl of queso unlike before.

Fisherman's Delight
Fishermen gathered on the Alabama side of the Chattahoochee River hoping to get "the big one". Notice there is not a whole lot of "social distancing".

Shopping over Safety?
This is a photo taken of the Columbus, GA TJ-Maxx yesterday morning when they opened their doors for the first time since shutting down back in March. It is concerning to see that so many would rush out to wait in line to shop, but more concerning to see that nobody in this photo is practicing social distancing.
