Description
Among other items, Margaret Sullivan reads an essay written by Virginia Story about her first cousin, Carson McCullers. (Their mothers were sisters.) Mrs. Story, who was a librarian at the Columbus Georgia public library, wrote the essay for a presentation to class at Baker High School, and tells them that she isn't going to talk about the writings of her cousin, but rather about Carson McCullers as a person, which she proceeds to do, in loving detail.
Sullivan comments that she thinks that she has a copy in her materials "at home".
