When the Covid-19 lock downs hit, and the school was forced to shut all face-to-face learning sessions, this semester took a strange and sudden turn. I was certainly no stranger to online learning, but I had also never been a huge fan of it. It was difficult to try and learn based solely on readings and videos assigned by Professors. That said, I knew everyone involved (both professors and students) were doing everything they could to make this transition as easy and manageable as possible. So, I buckled down and put as much effort into everything as I could. The work load was bigger (both in academics and in my professional job), so the biggest issue for me and everyone else who works in an "essential" job was managing our time to the best of our abilities. Letting go of the fun and optional and focusing on the necessities. Thankfully, the hard work has paid off, as we as a body of students are nearing the end of the semester. It was a long road, but we finally made it.
